News from the Session: Jack Taylor "Best in Government" Award

Greetings!

I am extremely honored to receive the Jack Taylor "Best in Government" award from Common Cause New Mexico. With unlimited corporate and union money flooding the political landscape, Common Cause's non-partisan fight for the core principles of our Democracy is more important than ever. Please click here to read the Common Cause press release announcing the award.

Common Cause has been front and center supporting my bills to limit campaign contributions and require increased reporting of campaign contributions which are now law in New Mexico. In future legislative sessions, we will continue our joint effort to require independent expenditure committees to disclose donors.

To learn more about campaign finance reform, please click here to read an article by Heath Haussamen at nmpolitics.net.

As always, your input is invaluable to me so don't hesitate to call or email to let me know what's on your mind.

Best,
Peter
